Well I have been a member here for a little over a year now, I suppose it's about time I write a little something.

I appreciate art in all forms although I am pretty much strictly a photographer. I do it for fun and enjoyment and I am always looking to improve my skills and learn new techniques. I started getting into photography about 10 years ago and really it was due to my frustration with my cheap semi-functional point-and-shoot camera. I would see all these great scenes and I couldnt get a good shot. So I got an SLR and took some classes and read a whole lot. I did all my photography on film and developed the b/w myself. I also printed all my own b/w images. In the past year I have been using digital and I love it. I don't know if I will ever go back.

I really like this community because I have found everyone here to be very nice, helpful and respectful of others artworks. I enjoy sharing my photos with all of you at GFX and even more, I enjoy all of your artworks!
